Wrong Google Plus Image Pulled

When a user shares a post on my site using Google Plus, the image for the post is always a specific advertising picture I have in my sidebar. This just started happening a few weeks ago after the major update, and was not an issue before.

Facebook Share works just fine, but for some reason the only image pulled is the ad image. I use both featured images and regular pics in my posts and none of those come up as options.

Any ideas how to fix this?? I would highly appreciate any feedback on this.
