wrong image count & trying to display unavailable pics

Hi guys !

NextGEN states that I have 87 images but that’s wrong since I deleted most of them (through FTP).
Images (at least the thumbnails !) were still appearing in my “Media Library” although I had deleted the files through FTP. So I also deleted them all in the “Media Library” and now I have none, but NextGen still says I have 87 when I do have about 23 actually!

I wouldn’t mind if it was only an incorrect stat number but the problem is that it tries to display inexistent pictures in my galleries!

I tried to deactivate all my plugins except NextGen but it did not change a thing
How can I correct this and reset the correct numbers ?
