Wrong image size for cover

  • Hi,

    I love the plugin. It displayed beautifully on my old site. I have changed to a different site and the album cover images are coming out the wrong size. Either the top or the bottom gets cut off.

    I had a look in the editor and it looks like the plugin is somehow generating/accessing a non-square version of the image (150 * 120) instead of 150 *150.

    Is this a problem with my installation or a plugin issue?

    I apologize for my late reply but his last time I was busy with another project.
    I think your problem is your wordpress configuration.

    Have you solved your problem now?
    If so, can you tell us about your solution?

    Many thanks for the reply. No problem about the delay.

    I couldn’t actually figure out what the problem was. I suspect that you are right – that it is something to do with my WordPress configuration. It is almost a fresh installation with just a few plugins.

    I’ve switched to another solution (Catablog) for the moment, but I definitely preferred the simplicity and display of your Simple Discography plugin better. This is the current view:

    I will try the plugin again when there is a WordPress update or a plugin update and hopefully it will spring back into regular action.

    What are the paramettre you use for Shortcode “Sidi-discography” in your page?

    Have you tested this configuration?
    [sidi-discography display=”thumbnail” cover_width=150 cover_height=150]

    Yes, that is what I was using and I’ve set it up again at:

    As before, the thumbnails are being cut off. Just in case, I tried regenerating the thumbnails with a plugin and it seemed to work, but for some reason the image is getting cut off.

    As you suggest, the problem is likely to be my installation of WordPress. If you have any ideas though, please let me know.

    you have the same problem when you select a picture already present in your Media library and when you download an image?
