• Hello, I’m having a strange issue. I have FeedWordPress and the Advanced Filters plugin installed. I pull about 10 different rss feeds (mix of rss2.0 and atom1.0).

On any given syndication of any feed, the posts get pulled in just fine (I have it set to Pending, not Auto publish), but something weird then happens. The images that are supposed to be pulled in per post (Advanced Filter plugin set to “Copy images to local media library / delete images from excerpts”) get mixed up. It will pull one image, which then gets published into every other post from that particular feed.

I’ve tried many different additional plugins/combinations (most of them too old for the latest WP), as well as disabling advanced filters and running a clean feedwordpress, which then NO images get pulled in.

    Any help is appreciated.

Ok so I’ve narrowed down the problem to FeedWordPress and how it handles feed formatting.

Basically: FeedWordPress is using the first rss item’s image grabbed, for every other rss item’s post.

    i.e. if you view-source on https://robots.net/rss/articles.xml,

the first image parsed is: <img src=”https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8397/8653210808_84b02b9256.jpg”/>

That same image will appear in every single other item posted, instead of that item’s correct image.

I am using WP 3.5.1 and the latest version of FeedWordPress

I have the same issue – did you ever find a solution to the problem!

Short of having to manually edit every post of course!

The difference for me is that the plugin is configured so that posts go to draft.

Also WP 3.5.1 and the latest version of FeedWordPress

    – posted something which doesn’t seem to be the case
