    Did you read the sticky?

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/must-read-before-posting-in-this-forum-1?replies=3

I would need a URL to an example post/page, and a description of the issue on that page.

    Thanks,

Hi there. I did read the sticky but perhaps I did not provide enough details. I will try to be more thorough.

Our automated social publisher is publishing the right image (our featured image) to Facebook but Google+ is getting the wrong image. Namely, Google+ is showing the image from one or more of our ads in the sidebar (kids gardening, Gypsy’s jewels). I am inserting a link to the Google + page displaying the wrong images. I have deleted most of the faulty posts but there are still some left.

Here are the links to a few:

Thank you for your time and please let me know if you need more information.

Please provide a URL to a post/page on your site, not Google+.

Which version of WPSSO are you using?

You didn’t get a notice about updating your theme template files?

JS, thank you for your help and patience. I’m not technical and most of this is like another language to me.

We were using the free version. Now we have upgraded to the Pro version.

Is this happening because we need to update the Template? In which case, if I update the theme template, how does that affect the rest of our website? Is this something I should have our developers do?

Since you’re a Pro user, you have access to the Pro support website. You should probably open a ticket there to get timely support. All www.ads-software.com forums are limited to Free version support only, and replies may take a few days as well. The Pro support website at https://support.surniaulula.com/support/home has a much faster response time (often just a few hours). ??

Your header.php template is a bit incomplete – it’s lacking a Schema itemtype for the head meta tags. This might be why Google is ignoring the image. When updating the plugin and/or your theme and/or saving the WPSSO options, you should have gotten a notice about modifying your theme header template. Did you dismiss this notice by any chance? On any SSO settings page, click the “Reset Hidden Notices” button at the bottom. Then save the settings again (no need to make any changes). WPSSO should let you know about needed changes to your header templates, and will offer to make those changes for you.

If you don’t see the notice, open a ticket on the Pro support website and attach your header*.php template files. I’ll have a look and let you know what needs to be changed (though WPSSO should be able to this automatically as suggested above).
