    Hi
I would like to add shipping to the UK only and to add Wordwide shipping as they have different postage costs.

I have set them up and yet going to the Online Store and buying an item the Checkout gives the wrong price for Wordwide Shipping as it’s the same as the UK Only cost.

How can we fix this issue?

For now I will have to disable Worldwide Shipping just in case someone buys something.

    Cheers

    Colin

Sorry that should be wrong International Shipping Price.

I’ve fixed the problem, I’d set the item for sale as a fixed shipping price in the Product Catalogue so it ignored the international rates.

    Hi Colin,

    Adam’s here with Ecwid Team.

    Thank you for the post!

Each shipping method applies to the selected shipping region. You need to add several zones if you want to apply different shipping prices depending on the destination zone. When you set up a shipping method you will need to set the shipping region, select how you calculate shipping, set shipping rates, set delivery speed and name the method.

Shipping rate is shown at checkout when the destination address is entered. If you had set up two different methods with different prices for two different zones the shipping price will depend on the address a customer enters — it will show the rates you had set depending on what zone the customer address belongs to.

In your case, the calculations were overridden by “Fixed rate per item”. It is set up on individual product [Tax and Shipping] tab. This tab was created so that you can have more options with shipping rate calculation for the individual product. By default, it’s set to “Use global rates”. It is very important that you use global rates on this tab if you want shipping rate of this product to be calculated based on your custom rates.

    I hope I was helpful.
