• Hi, I have a website in french, but the theme I am using is in english.

When I want to translate it, the original language is marked as FR_fr.

How can I tell to Loco Translate the plugin is in english and I wanna do the french translation ?

What do you mean by “the original language is marked as FR_fr”?

Loco Translate makes no assumptions about the source language of plugins. This is usually English, but the file editor does not care what language it is.

My wordpress is in french (Selected in the General Settings)

The theme I am using, isn’t translated, it’s in english and I want to make the french version.

But when I go to Loco Translate->Themes->My Theme->Overview, there is only French.

But in the french file, there is only english strings.

If I add english on this screen, I have to translate theses strings into english.

How should I handle this ?

Do you mean the source strings are untranslated, or that someone has entered English instead of French?

If I add english on this screen, I have to translate theses strings into english.

Why do you want to create English translations if your site is in French?

How should I handle this ?

I’m not really following the problem, but it sounds like a mess. Please post a download link to theme you’re trying to translate, or at least post some screenshots to illustrate what is wrong.
