Wrong messages and code text, please help!

  • I wonder if someone please could help me! I’m not sure if this incorrect message about several lines of code appears for visitors or only when I edit. I have no idea why or how i can fix it? Very greatful for tips!!

  • I would start with resetting your permalinks and see if the error message goes away after that.

    Go into settings > permalinks. Don’t change anything; just click the save button at the bottom.

    Then clear any cache plugins you use and see if the error has gone…

    Thank you Dave! i saw that the permalinks was set on dates and that felt not ok when the site has other kind of pages so changed it to plain https://golfjoy.se/?p=123 , saved and cleared cache but still gets the wrong message in the top of the page:

    Is it something with the setting in mailchimp?

    It indeed sounds like an issue with the mailchimp contact form 7 extension then. To test that, you could turn off the plugin and see if the message goes away. If it does go away, you know it’s something to do with that plugin.

    You can then go to the support forum for the plugin and ask there if they can help you troubleshoot it.
