Hi all, I’d really appreciate some help here!

Google Search Console has listed by ‘Food Recipe’ as a ‘How-To’ as well, because I temporarily changed my recipe type to that and then realised I shouldn’t have.

However, even after using the plugin to select ‘Food Recipe’ and even no metadata and then back to ‘Food Recipe’, the metadata listing my recipe as a ‘How To’ remains.

This has resulted in the recipes showing more warning errors in the console, and if possible I really want to delete the metadata for ‘How To’ and keep my recipe marked up simply as a food recipe. Please let me know if anyone knows how I can do this and avoid errors. Thank you so much in advance,

    Kind Regards,
    James

    Hi James,

When I check that page in Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool I can see both How-To and Recipe metadata.

The recipe metadata is definitely coming from our plugin, but the How-To metadata is coming from a Yoast How-To block.

Are you using both on the same page?

Ah I see! That makes a lot of sense, I am indeed using both. It seems odd that the issues didn’t show until I made changes in WPRM, however. I’ll look into this, thanks a lot ??
