Normally, and even with all figures for shorter periods of time, there are about twice as many visits as visitors. Only for the total number (for 365 days) is the number of visits less than the number of visitors. But that is theoretically not possible.

Please advise what could be causing this

    Thanks
    Andreas

    Dear Andeas,

We appreciate your message and are happy to assist you.

To ensure accurate website statistics, we recommend blocking bots and crawlers through the Exclusions page in WP Statistics settings. There are additional settings available to prevent unwanted visitors, which can further improve the accuracy of your website stats. We suggest reviewing the plugin configurations and verifying that everything is set up correctly.

If the issue persists, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will investigate the matter further and provide assistance to resolve the issue.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Best regards,

    Reza

    Thank you for your replay.

But this has nothing to do with the settings. As I wrote, only the all-time-total of visits is wrong, while all the numbers for shorter periods look correct (means:. number of visits is higher than number of visitors)

Bots and crawlers are already blocked (and have been from the beginning)

    Best regards
    Andreas
