• Hi guys.

I’m having a weird problem here. My website is displaying the wrong pages randomly. The url appears ok but the page displayed not.

This only appears in Firefox and IE, it works ok in Chrome.

    Any ideias what can be?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

    Hi, thanks for theanswer.

The permalinks reset solves the problem so it must be something related. I set my custom structure with only /%postname%/ so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Any tip to keep permalinks without this error?

    esmi i already done that.

I’ve tried to change my permalink structure to /%category%/%postname%/ and i uploaded a new .htaccess file and i still get the same problem.

Am i missing something in that page?

    Bump!

    This is very annoying.

My hosting service is saying that they don’t have any responsibility with the permalinks (and they right).

How can i reset (if this is possible) the permalinks?

Does the site work with the default permalink setting? Does it work with one of the other permalink presets?
