    Hi everyone.

I write because I have a problem with Yoast free:

In my site (temporary link) [ redundant link removed ] I have a blog section with several articles.
One of these posts is [ redundant link removed ].
Immediately after creating this Post the SEO Analysis and Readability Analysis were both “Good”.

Yesterday I entered the WordPress page to make a change, and before entering this new element (an HTML ELEMENT WITH CODE OF ANIMATED AMP-ACCORDION), I noticed that the SEO rating had changed from “Good” to “OK”.

    1) Why this change?

If I go to check these error messages in SEO ANALYSIS, I see that these are:

    • Key phrase in the introduction: the key phrase you chose or its synonyms do not appear in the first paragraph. Make sure your readers immediately understand the topic. >>> BUT IT’S NOT TRUE.
    • Previously used key phrase: you used this key phrase 2 times before. You should not use the keyword phrase more than once. >>> BUT IT’S NOT TRUE, AND THIS ERROR DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE PAST DAYS, BUT IT WAS APPEARS ONLY YESTERDAY WHEN I WENT IN THE WORDPRESS PAGE, BEFORE I MAKE ANY CHANGE
    • Key phrase in subtitles: use more key phrases or their synonyms in higher level subtitles! >>> OK, THIS IS TRUE..
Now I have the same problem, every time I enter a post already created to modify it !!!
In others post like /synapticweb/2018/07/14/come-rendere-il-tuo-sito-piu-veloce/ THIS ONE, AFTER ADDING A HTML CODE OF ANIMATED AMP-ACCORDION (It’s a long tag NAV, with UL a lot of tag LI… ), THE READABILITY ANALYSIS GO FROM “GOOD” TO “OK”. WHY? WHY????

Can you hekp me to solve this irritating problem?

    Thanks to all!

  • Hi,

You identified several issues. We have responded to them below.

    A. Key phrase in the introduction: the key phrase you chose or its synonyms do not appear in the first paragraph. Make sure your readers immediately understand the topic.
This is likely due to the WPBakery pagebuilder. Can you describe or take a screenshot of what the backend looks like on: https://synapticweb.it/synapticweb/2019/05/23/come-apparire-su-google/? What is the first WPBakery module on the page? Is it a text module or something else? Also, what is the keyword for the page?

You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.

B.Previously used key phrase: you used this key phrase 2 times before. You should not use the keyword phrase more than once.
We are not sure why it has now appeared. However, there should be a link in that notification that if you click on it will show you where you have used this keyword before. If you click on it does Yoast show you where this keyword was used?

If not, can you describe what page you went to or take a screenshot of it?

    C. Now I have the same problem, every time I enter a post already created to modify it !!!
We are confused. Are you getting the exact same errors on all your posts across your entire site?

    D. WHY? WHY????
It is likely a result of of that AMP Accordion. We are not familiar with this. Can you elaborate more on what this is and how it was added? Is it a Gutenberg Block or a WPBakery module?

Or is it some code you are using? If you are copy/pasting code into the page HOW are you copy/pasting it? Are you copy/pasting the code into a text editor or some other kind. Screenshots of this would be helpful.

    A. Key phrase in the introduction
Looking at the screenshot, there is a lot of stuff that appears before the section you titled as the post. This likely means there is a paragraph tag in one of those custom sections that causes this error. This is not an uncommon message when using a page builder as page builders allow you to add styling and other content before the real content. If you are sure the topic is clear immediately, you can safely ignore the message.

    B. Previously used key phrase
We apologize?for the trouble you are currently experiencing with our plugin. Luckily, a so-called “bug report” (a description of the issue, so we can fix it) is filed already here.

Our product team will asses the severity of this problem in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the bug report will be given a priority. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate when they’ll start working on your report.

If you have any further information that may affect the prioritization or help our development team solve this bug, please leave a comment or subscribe to the GitHub report to get updates on the issue.

    C. Now I have the same problem, every time I enter a post already created to modify it !!!
When you open a post/page to modify, the plugin automatically re-scans the content to realign with the current analysis process.

    D. ANIMATED AMP-ACCORDION
Adding nav code to a post can cause this issue as nav code is not typically considered content. nav code should be added outside of the content area but is something the page builder allow because they can take over the entire post/page; not just the content area. Yoast SEO is designed for content only; not the header, menu, sidebar or footer area that some page builders allow you to add. Please contact the page builder for assistance adding non-content items to the post/page level without having them process and send the information to our analysis.
