Wrong Page Template in preview

  • Unfortunately my wordpress installation is not using the page template which is set in the backend, when previewing the page (before publishing).

    I double checked the template and I found out that the page.php template is used instead.

    Why does this happen?

    As soon as I publish the page gets the correct template assigned…
    Any ideas?
