• Hi!

I have recently moved my site to Godaddy Managed WordPress hosting. WP-DBManager is showing following 2 error messages :

1 – Your backup folder is NOT writable
2 – Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public

The ‘Path To Backup’ is incorrect. It looks like the path from previous host. If I go to the Database Options and try to save the new correct path, it does not save it.

    Kindly help me
    Thank you!

If it doesn’t save, the only think I can think of is there is some mod_security filtering the POST request of the form and hence preventing it from saving. I don’t see why you cannot save it. Maybe try other fake values to see if it saves first.

I tried, it did not work. I do not know much but I think it may be taking the path from db.

It is because that is where the options are stored. It might be a config or conflict on your end that prevent it from saving. It works fine on three of my hosts (I just tested it)
