    Hello,

I am using the free version of Updraft, and had an issue where a plugin updated automatically, and would not let WordPress function correctly. So I restored the plugins from the day before, and everything seemed to work correctly, but when I go into the plugin section of my site, the plugins pertain to one of my other sites. I tried to upload a backup directly from dropbox restore created by your plugin. The zip file seems to contain all of the plugins that should be on the site. But when I attempt to restore the incorrect plugins load once again.

What can I do to rectify this? I just started a crowd funding campaign, and as you can imagine, I can’t have my site in limbo while trying to obtain backers.

Thank you in advance for anyone’s assistance.

    Hi,

The backup file you are restoring are you sure it is from the correct site and contains only the plugins you want to restore? e.g if you connect multiple sites to Dropbox all their backups get stored in the same place on the free version and you may be restoring a backup from a different site.

The backup file should have the name of the site it came from in the file name.

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley

Yes, I am sure, I double checked everything when I saw the incorrect plugins appear. I also tried multiple dates in the event that the backups were corrupted, and the outcome was the same. When I look at the zip file, it contains the correct plugins.

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the restoration log?
This can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the site via FTP.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response, and my question, but there are ton of log.xxxxxxxxxxxx.txt files in that directory. Which one of these files should I sent?

Also, I just noticed that something else happened as on the 6th it backed files up locally, which it should not be doing. Not only that, but there are backup files from another one of my sites mixed in.
