  • Your web server returns a “Last-Modified” field in the HTTP header. And this contains the current time of the call. This is probably what Google uses here.

    I just checked – in a WordPress without any plugins, this HTTP header field is not set. So my guess is that a plugin you use OR a configuration on your server is responsible for this.
