wrong post type for attachment with media_handle_sideload

I use a function to fetch an image out from the cache into media library with
media_handle_sideloadandset_post_thumbnailto feature the image in a custom post type. when using your plugin, the attachment file is saved under the post type of its parent post, not as post_type attachment. so I can’t see the image in the media library and not set it as featured image any more.
