We’ve just found out that the customer email contains the wrong price for variable products. The plugin shows the price for the main product, but not the variant that was actually purchased. Please see the screenshots. I can’t change this in the template, since the whole data block is created by a function. This is a major issue, since customers are pretty clueless what’s going on.

Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

I see the order ID 328941 in the second screenshot is different from the order ID in the review reminder email. Please share a screenshot of the order ID 328945 so I can see the issue.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your additional information.

I can see the issue according to your screenshots. Please try to deactivate all plugins except CusRev, WooCommerce, switch to a WordPress theme and recheck this issue.

I deactivated all other plugins and switched to Twenty24. Nothing changed. Do you believe me or do I have to upload screenshots? ??

We are confused by this statement:

We’ve just found out that the customer email contains the wrong price for variable products. The plugin shows the price for the main product, but not the variant that was actually purchased.

As far as we can see, WooCommerce doesn’t offer any field to set a price for the “main product” when a product is variable. It is possible to set prices for individual variations only. Could you share some screenshots illustrating your variable product details including prices for variations and the “main product”?

That’s fine. However, the CusRev email does show exactly that. ?? “Main product” was the wrong description, my mistake. The email always shows the price of the first variation. Please see this example:

By “main product” I meant the variation that is shown by default.
