Help! I did not do any changes but suddenly the wrong prices are shown in our shop. Apparently, VAT is added to the normal price though VAT is already included in the prices. I checked the settings but everything looks like it always was (I enter prices inclusive of tax / Display prices in the shop including tax / Display prices during cart and checkout including tax). I disabled already all plugins and switched to a standard theme but the problem is still there.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Can you please turn off the maintenance mode and share the following so we can take a closer look at the issue?

Screenshots of your tax settings (tax options and rates): I recommend?https://snipboard.io?for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

System Status:?You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hello!
Thank you. I cannot turn off maintenance mode because it′s a production site. Is there an option to send you login credentials that you can view the page? I also would prefer to send you the system status in a not public way.

    Hi there,

It is convenient to quickly duplicate your live site in a staging environment using the free WP Staging plugin. This allows us to navigate the staging site and take a look at what’s currently happening based on your description.

The forum guidelines do not allow the sharing of login credentials. We’re happy to assist directly on the forum without having to access the site’s backend.

There should not be any sensitive info in the System Status. You can use Pastebin or Gist and share the link in this post.

    Cheers.

Hello, obviously the prices are displayed incorrectly for all products on the shop page. But on the single product page, the prices of the product variations are displayed correctly, only the prices of the simple products are incorrect.

Thank you, here the system status: https://pastebin.com/8ExGyQXH
Product page of the staging: https://borowski-glas.de/support/?product_cat=studio-line
The product variations are not displayed here due to a missing plugin license.

    Hi @barbarab123

Thank you for providing the system status and for creating the staging site.

Could you still see this issue on the staging environment? I have checked the staging’s shop page (https://borowski-glas.de/support/?product_cat=studio-line) and apparently all prices are matching the ones on single product pages. Example:

    Shop page =>

Hi, I think I found the problem. In the settings the address of the shop was set to Afganistan… I changed it to Germany and the prices are okay. I just wonder why this is the case in our production site and the two stagings and that the prices have been okay all the time before. Is it possible that the country is changing automatically?

From my end in the staging the price of the product you show above is 1.010,31 € on shop page and single product page (https://borowski-glas.de/support/?product=biene). So far I left as location of shop “Afganistan” there.

    That’s odd,

I understand you already disabled the plugins to test, but it is important in this case to perform a conflict test according to our documentation, you can find more information below:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Please do and let us know how it goes. Thanks.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while (I think at this point you have been able to find a solution), so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
