Wrong product AddToCart tracking

  • Hi,
    Using your plugin for a while now. It’s great!

    I added a custom Ajax addToCartButton to my site. That one is tracking the wrong product when addToCart is performed. Looking at the sourcecode of your plugin it seems it’s pulling info from the wrong hidden field although I can’t figure out why. There is only one gtm4wp_name field in the HTML.
    I’m guessing if I put a copy of those fields in the same box as the button it’ll work, but maybe it’s better if you have a look first.

    Important: Use the browser with a width of less than 768 pixel for the custom button!

    Hi,

    I checked the page that you provided as a sample and the add to cart event seems to work correctly. Perhaps you were able to fix this by now?

    Hi, thanks for checking.
    I found it picks the product from the suggested products/upsell box.

    I shall get back to you, cause I’m migrating my staging to a new host atm.
