    Hi,

I’m helping a friend with her new webshop, but we’ve ran into a strange problem which I can’t get solved.

    On this page: https://rebelwithatwist.markvandam.nl/product-categorie/wol-en-garens/ito-yarn/ito-urugami/

    username: testcase
    password: rwat2021

On the provided page only products within the “Urugami” category are supposed to be displayed, but if you scroll down, there are other products from different categories being displayed as well. I edited the wrongly placed products to check their assigned category, but the “Uragami” category is indeed *not* selected. So they should not be on this page I believe..

Any suggestions on the issue and how to fix it?

Thanks a lot and kind regards,

    Mark

    Hi @markvdam,

Upon checking your site, I see the filter for Product categories is controlled by your Astra theme. What I’d advise is switching to the default Storefront theme and check if the same behavior persists. If not, it will be definitely clear that this is something associated with your Astra theme. Therefore, in that case, it would be best to reach out to Astra support team.

For more detailed instructions about conflict testing, check out this – How to test for plugin and theme conflicts.

Please let us know how that goes.

    Hi @rainfallnixfig ,

Thanks for getting back to me. It is indeed an issue with the Astra Pro theme, the storefront theme does not show this problem. Next time I’ll try this first, sorry for the mishap.

I’ve contacted the Astra support team.

    Kind regards,
    Mark

    Hi Mark @markvdam,

Thanks for letting us know that the issue is related to the theme.

Feel free to open a new thread if you have any questions or need assistance with the core WooCommerce plugin.

    Cheers.
