    Hi @izvirnik,

Do you have any templates listed in the “Products Archive” tab in the Elementor Theme Builder section? If not, you could try to create one according to the instructions you linked to.

If you don’t have any templates for Products Archive, your theme is probably using the default WooCommerce template. Does the search results page show the correct products? Is it the appearance you’re concerned about?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Regards,
    Marta

    I do.
I even exported them, delited them all and re-made them, but it didn’t help.

Here, this is how it should look like (usig current search bar – my search results archive template):
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/d2v1qfqkityj3a3/Search1.jpg?dl=0
This is the result from your search bar (ignore double header.. I added new row for your search widget):
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/4befo7vsvug3srz/Search2.jpg?dl=0

The result works, it’s appearance that’s wrong. Could be default WooCommerce template, yes, I dunno. But I have no idea where it is, I opened every single page and every single template/archive to find it, but I can’t find it.

Hope you can help me. Your plugin is really nice otherwise, looks good, works well, it’s fast and responsive.. just redirects (me) to the wrong template ??

    Hi Jure,

It’s strange that your website uses 2 different search results templates depending on the plugin you’re using. Perhaps these plugins redirect the search results to a different template?

You can compare the two templates by viewing their HTML. Hit F12 or right-click on your website and choose “Inspect” (this notice may be different for different browsers). Developer tools will show up. Take a look at CSS classes attached to the <body> tag. I marked the place in the screenshot: https://snipboard.io/rIceEX.jpg

Can you see any differences in these classes? Elementor attaches classes with “elementor” in their names. There should be also a number next to “elementor” indicating which template or page it is. Does the wrong template have “elementor” classes in the <body> tag?

There might be also a browser caching problem. You can hit CTRL+F5 to refresh the page and delete cache.

Let us know how it goes!

Good, seems strange to someone else as well ??

    On the correct template, body class says “search search-results logged-in admin-bar wp-custom-logo theme-astra woocommerce-js ehf-footer ehf-template-astra ehf-stylesheet-astra ast-desktop ast-page-builder-template ast-no-sidebar astra-3.6.8 ast-header-custom-item-outside ast-full-width-primary-header ast-woocommerce-cart-menu ast-replace-site-logo-transparent ast-inherit-site-logo-transparent elementor-page-2020 elementor-default elementor-template-full-width elementor-kit-1390 astra-addon-3.5.8 customize-support e–ua-firefox”
    So elementor page 2020.

    On the “wrong” one it says: “archive search search-results post-type-archive post-type-archive-product logged-in admin-bar wp-custom-logo theme-astra woocommerce-shop woocommerce woocommerce-page woocommerce-js ehf-footer ehf-template-astra ehf-stylesheet-astra ast-desktop ast-page-builder-template ast-no-sidebar astra-3.6.8 ast-header-custom-item-outside ast-full-width-primary-header columns-5 tablet-columns-3 mobile-columns-2 ast-woo-shop-archive ast-woocommerce-cart-menu ast-replace-site-logo-transparent ast-inherit-site-logo-transparent ast-woocommerce-pagination-square elementor-default elementor-kit-1390 astra-addon-3.5.8 customize-support e–ua-firefox”
So elementor-default. I also notice it starts with “archive search”, not “search”. It’s funny, it also defines the columns on different devices, has to be some kind of default..

    Hope there’s some help possible?
Redefining it as search, not archive search.. or redirecting from elementor default to elementor 2020?

    Regards!

    Hi Jure,

Thanks for checking! The product search results page is set up properly – it is a product archive showing search results. But it seems that there is no Elementor template for it and your theme is using the default template. You could go to Appearance -> Customize -> Global -> Container and check the “WooCommerce Layout” section – perhaps it’s set to Full Width / Stretched and that’s why the page looks wrong.

On the other hand, the “correct” template is showing the standard WordPress search page and it seems that there is an Elementor template for it.

Please try again to create the template according to the instructions you linked.

Also, please locate the “correct” template and check its settings (it may be located in the Templates -> Search Results tab). Perhaps you could copy it to the Archive Product template.

Let us know how it goes!

    Regards,
    Marta
