    Hello,

I use contact form 7 and basically everything works, but there is the senders’ name “My Company” instead of my company name. No matter what I enter in the “from” field in contact form 7, all mails are sent by “My Company <info@…>”. I tried to use another sender (Contact <contact@…>), but the mails that I got are still sent by “My Company <info@…>”.

Hope there’s someone who know how to fix this…

  • Hi. Same problem here on gmail: the inbox shows “me”, doesn’t matter what email account is on [your-email]

Hey everyone, what happens if you guys try temporarily using an SMTP plugin to send out the emails?

I tried to use WP Mail SMTP. There’s the error message:

WP Mail SMTP has detected incorrect "wp_mail" function location. Usually, this means that emails will not be sent successfully!

It looks like the "Newsletter, SMTP, Email marketing and Subscribe forms by Sendinblue" plugin is overwriting the "wp_mail" function. Please reach out to the plugin developer on how to disable or remove the "wp_mail" function overwrite to prevent conflicts with WP Mail SMTP.

    Current function path: /var/www/vhosts/hosting175068.ae88e.netcup.net/moinhaus.de/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/mailin/sendinblue.php:324

The settings in my sendinblue account and plugin are correct.

Hi, mh1990, I would say in this case, contact the WP Mail SMTP plugin developers regarding this issue.

Problem solved. I had to reinstall the “Newsletter, SMTP, Email marketing and Subscribe forms by Sendinblue” plugin.
