Wrong Site Name In Mobile Results

    Hi

    For some reason, a mobile search on Google is displaying the site name as “Prestige Fleet Cleaning.”

    As I can’t send a screenshot, I’m hoping this explains what I mean:
    Site name: Prestige Fleet Cleaning (incorrect)
    Meta Title: correct
    Meta Description: correct

    The actual site name is Prestige Cleaning Solutions.

    This happens if you do a search for the actual company e.g. “Prestige Cleaning Solutions Glasgow” or a service search e.g. “Conservatory Cleaning Glasgow”

    Any idea why this is happening & how I fix it?

On mobile, I searched for Prestige Cleaning Solutions Glasgow and Conservatory Cleaning Glasgow, and the outcome is different from what you see, though. See screenshot. And, of course, you can share your screenshot. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    I checked the homepage source and the site title matches what I got in search results:

    <title>Prestige Cleaning Solutions: Commercial, Offices & Windows</title>

    Hi @maybellyne. Thanks for looking into this for me. If you look at the screenshot you’ve sent, you’ll see the company logo, company name & domain name (all above the title).

    The name of the business in this image is “PRESTIGE FLEET CLEANING”. The name of the business is Prestige Cleaning Solutions (Prestige Fleet Cleaning is just a small division).

    Ideally – I need the name of the business to be Prestige Cleaning Solutions (next to logo & above the domain name).

    Hope this makes sense?

    Hey James,

    Thank you for your reply. I checked your Schema Organization output, and in there I do see the correct naming (Prestige Cleaning Solutions). As well as the correct organization name in the Google Knowledge Graph etc.

    As said, the output is just fine and we also released 19.9 today with an extra field related to the Site Name output, which you could try using – see: https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-october-25-2022/
