Hello, we have a problem with creating events with the plugin. Everything is setup correctly in the backend. But the issue is when creating a new two day EVENT and checking the box “All day event”, the event appears on three days. For instance, the “cloture de base” is set to? 26-27.10.2024 but appears as 25 – 27 on the site.

Furthermore, the order of events on the front page is displayed incorrectly, it should start with the next event and ascend. Now the last event is displayed first.? Where can I change the order?

I hope you can help me with this.

    Best regards

    Hi @tobiasoptin

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

When I checked your events page, I can see that it is sorted correctly. If the issue persists, could I ask for a screenshot of the issue that you see on your end?
    See- https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuwvkmN

Also, about the event “cloture de base”, the URL you provided is a preview URL that is not viewable on our end. However, I see a similar event that is set for May 24-29, but on the events page, it shows May 25. Please confirm if this is the same issue that you’re referring to.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Yes this is the issue, the event is setup for the 26-27 but in the front end it starts at the 25th.

    Hi @tobiasoptin,

Do you perhaps have a caching plugin? If so, make sure to configure it according to this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/
Next, clear the cache, and check your site again.

Also, check if you can replicate the issue with the Default theme while all?plugins except for The Events Calendar ones are disabled.

It still doesn’t work. I don’t have a caching plugin etc

    Hi @tobiasoptin

Could you provide the timezone you’re using for your events? Also, are you using site-wide time zone everywhere or manual time zones for each event? I want to check it further on my end.

    @d0153

In my settings tab I have the site-wide time zone “Luxembourg”, and weeks start on Monday. Date Format is 21/05/2024, 10:33.

And when creating an event, I set up with a timezone because I can’t leave it blank.

    Event Entry:

    Start/End 26/10/2024 to 27/10/2024 Luxembourg

    All Day Event

This event is all day starting on 26 October and ending on 27 October 2024.

    Hi @tobiasoptin

And when creating an event, I set up with a timezone because I can’t leave it blank.

If you’re using a site-wide or manual timezone, it will not be blank and it should have a default timezone selected automatically. So if you selected site-wide timezone, then the default timezone will be Luxembourg.

I tried replicating it on my test site, but it’s working as expected. Also, I just checked again your website, and it seems it’s working now.
