Greeting, I use polylang free. I have translated the text for GDPR Cookie Consent into string translation.

I use Croatian and English translation. My default language is Croatian, but when I get to the home page (Croatian one), the GDPR Cookie Consent displays the English text on the home page in Croatian.

Other pages are fine and the text for GDPR Cookie Consent is displayed in Croatian.

When I switch to English, all texts for GDPR Cookie Consent are in English as they should be.

The problem is only the homepage in Croatian, where the English text for GDPR Cookie Consent is displayed.

Everything worked fine until few months, apparently the new updates caused this problem. How do I fix it?

Polylang translation works great except with your plugin.

Only the notification bar of your plugin is not translated properly. As I stated in the problem above. The cookie notification bar shows the wrong translation on the homepage.

It is related to the cookie message content of your plugin!

You can try it here: house-dom-san.com

Select the Croatian language and the cookie message will be in English, then click on another page in the menu, for example “Novosti” which means news in Croatian. Then the cookie message will be displayed in Croatian. Return to the home page and the message will be in English.

Then select the English language. Regardless of which page you’re on, the cookie displays English text and that’s fine.

The problem is the homepage in Croatian.

I changed the page language to Croatian in the wordpress general settings. Now the situation is reversed. On the English homepage, the cookie text is displayed in Croatian. What to do?
