Wrong thumbnail image showing when sharing website link

    Hi!
    When sending a website link to someone, a wrong image is showing, even though I made sure its changed. I also cleared the site’s cache and its still not working. I checked the forums and didnt find a similar problem, please help!

    Thanks for using Yoast SEO and also for reaching out to us for the issue with the image issue when sharing.

    I checked the page source code and confirmed that the image which you have mentioned as preferred is outputting within the og:image meta tag. I also tried to share the homepage on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and confirmed that the same image is outputting within the website preview on these platforms. So could you please let us know on which platform you have noticed the difference?
