Hi, all. Forgive me if this has already been addressed elsewhere. If it was, I couldn’t find it during my search.

I’m having a strange problem when I try to create a page using the archive template on WordPress (equipped with ComicPress). I am able to produce the archive just fine, but the page keeps titling itself after an entry in my blog. See here to understand what I mean: https://blackinkbird.com/archives/

Instead of displaying the heading “Archives” after the page title, it heads the page as “Comics Writing Workshops w/ Serena Valentino” which is the title of my third-latest blog entry.

Does anyone have any clue why this might be happening? All insights appreciated! Thanks!

  • Hi,

Edit the archive.php file of your theme folder and check with the display contents..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
