    Firstly the user profile language setting should decide the language to be shown in administration. Secondly the Spanish translation is inconsistent (padre / madre / hija in stead of “ascendientes” and “descendientes”), with plain contextual errors (confusing “orden” with “pedido”) and it looks like translated by someone who did not understand the functions of the configuration (machine translation?).

    The English was already vague in meaning and now translated again from that the meaning becomes even more obscured. Can you imagine the delay it causes to figure out the original?

    So please leave the choice to the user what language they want, not to the site owner who imposes the default language. This by the way this is what WordPress is doing too. And please always translate to a new language from the source language. Doing otherwise will change translation to a rumor.
