    Hi,

From 9.x.x version, {user_password_setup_link} and {user_password_reset_link} are wrong:

    • The user email is missing at the end of the {user_password_setup_link} URL
    • The “@” in user email is missing in the {user_password_reset_link} URL

Had to revert to 8.x.x version, waiting for an update correcting these blocking issues…

Thanks for your help on that.

Hey, we’ve just released Notification v9.0.2 which addresses this issue.

    Hi Kuba,

    Just tested with v9.0.2 :

    • The link is now OK for {user_password_setup_link}, but the string “SETUP ” is displayed before the link
    • The “@” in user email is still missing in the {user_password_reset_link} URL

Thanks for your help on that!

    Best,

Hi, do you send HTML emails or plain text or using a different carrier?

Are you sure the SETUP string is not added in the carrier somewhere? We didn’t add that anywhere in the plugin, just double-checked this.

    Hi,

I’ve just updated to version Version 9.0.2. I’ve encountered another problem with the username reset password link.

There is an error in the user name {user_password_setup_link}? URL at the end. The URL is not indicating if there is a space when there are 2 separate words in the username. i.e. I’ve tested the {user_password_setup_link}? (that works) and at the end of the URL string it indicates “name%20surname”. The {user_password_setup_link}?URL which does not work does not have %20 separating the name and surname.

    Hi @kubitomakita

Sorry, my mistake for the “SETUP” string. So the {user_password_setup_link} is now OK for me.

The remaining issue is in the {user_password_reset_link} URL : when the user ID is an email address, the “@” is removed…

    Best,

    Olivier

    Hi @kubitomakita ,

The issue is still there in the {user_password_reset_link} URL : when the user ID is an email address, the “@” is removed…

Do you plan to correct it in a coming release?

    Best,

    Olivier
