On WP 4.3.1 with WooCommerce 2.4.11 I installed PixelYourSite PRO 1.0.0 and PixelYourSite 1.01, and when testing the AddToCart event, the Facebook Pixel Helper extension shows a wrong “value”:

For instance I add a $24.99 product to the cart and the Value shown is “value: 36174.95”

The cart total, with 3 products on it, is $174.95 so it seems its doing 36000 + total cart $174.95 = $36174.95

Also, I always get a “Facebook Pixel activated 2 times” error for the AddToCart pixel event

Will this be correctly registered on FB? What’s that 36000 sum?

First of all, thanks for updating to the PRO version of the plugin.

Please send me the URL of your website by email and please deactivate the FREE version of the plugin.

    Hi all,

I already put the FB default pixel in my theme.
What I need to know is: can I add the fbq(‘track’, ‘AddToCart’); function only to selected pages or articles with this plugin?
Moreover: I use a different Call to actions (link, buttons, etc.) in my pages to let the users add to the amazon cart (affiliation program): will this plugin let me track all the conversions in FB?

Thank you in advance for your kind support.

    Hi,

Please read this help page on how to define standard events

You can define AddToCart events on any URL that you want (including partial URL match, by adding * at the end of the string)

We do not support dynamic call to actions for amazon cart (but this is a really useful idea for the future)

The only dynamic AddToCart event supported for the time being is WooCommerce add to cart button.

    Thanks for using PixelYourSite

Thank you for your prompt reply.
From what I understand, while adding the event “add to cart” in the conversion page, by clicking on the link to add to your cart, it would not trace anyway? Conisder I’m using a cloacked link like this: https://www.xxx.com/product/B00000001/IT/affiliate-21/?cart=y

If you are using WooCommerce buttons it might work, but it has to be tested. Please install the plugin and use Pixel Helper to see if AddToCart event is triggered on click.

You can give me a message with the website URL so I test it myself: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/contact

If is not working I will add this on my to do list.

    Let me know.

UPDATE: the AddToCart event doesn’t work on affiliate buttons. This is a nice feature that we might add in the future, but it is not available for now.

So, they won’t work even if they are cloacked?

    Plugin Author PixelYourSite

    (@pixelyoursite)

No, it won’t work in any scenario.

I will add this feature in a future version.

Just a short update for jocelyn72s:
You can now add any events on WooCommerce affiliate buttons – this is a pro features.

If you have the free version of the plugin there is a link there to a limited offer for the pro.

    Thanks

first of all, thank you for your kind update.
In order to use the events on my affiliate links, do I have to install Woocommerce?
