    Is anyone else getting a White Screen of Death with the update to Version 2.7.36?

    Disabling the plugin by renaming the plugin folder fixes the issue.

    That version number does not look like ASE’s version number, which is at 7.4.0 with today’s release. Can you confirm / clarify?

    Apologies, the correct version is indeed 7.4.0

    OK. So, was it indeed updating ASE to 7.4.0 that caused the white screen of death? So far, there hasn’t been any other user reporting a similar issue.

    Can you look into your error log to see if there are any entry around the time you performed the ASE update?… and copy here any entries you find.

    UPDATE:

    Network Activating the plugin breaks the site. Activating on the network’s main site does not break the site.

    @erbrown thanks for the update. As is noted on the plugin description page, ASE does not officially support multisite and no support is provided for installation on a multisite. It’s known to break with network activation. Sub-site activation does seem to work OK according to several users.
