• I recently posted a topic on how to get rid of some borders in my site:
    black and white and color
I got some help and then to finalize my issue I decided to copy the entire “original css” to the editable area in wordpress. Then I chose the “start from scratch using this” option so I only had one set of css. I then made the changes I needed to make. Everything looked good after that change (last night). I get up this morning and my blog is missing it’s only post save for the last line. It is also missing the “pages” and “about” links. It looks like 2 inches was chopped out of the middle of the page and everything shifted up.
    Someone please help!!!!!!!!

Well, my 24″ desktop monitor shows the site fine, both of my laptops show it as messed up. They have sufficient screen resolution (I assume). The site is 995px wide, and they are both over 1200px.
    Help a fella out.

    Two posts inside an hour?

Give people a chance to respond – your first post is not exactly clear about what you did. Are you saying you copied the css file content into the post editor, then edited and saved it there? That’s how it reads to me.

You haven’t said which version of WP you’re using, which theme, what type of hosting, and whether the hosting is local or remote …. amongst other things people would need to assist you.

Also, right now – it’s Saturday night in Asia, Saturday afternoon in Europe (and the soccer season is just ending), and lunchtime on the US east coast, breakfast time on the west coast, and the Aussies are all in bed. Not the best time of day to be crying out for help?

bumping topics will lead to closing them – we are FIRM on this.

Sorry, my 2nd post wasn’t a bump or a “where is everyone?” holler. I was merely providing more information that I did not have when I made my first post. I was trying to provide info that might be of help to those of you that could help.

I am using the free wordpress.com service, so whatever version they have there is what I have.

Yes, I copied the css file content into the post editor, then edited and saved it there. I chose the option of starting from scratch instead of “add this to the ChaoticSoul theme’s CSS stylesheet.”

I am using the chaoticsoul theme.
