[wysija_page] Not working

    From the instructions on how to provide a page that allows users to edit their subscriptions, it says to:
    Create a page with the [wysija_page] shortcut.
    Make sure that Subscribers can edit their profile is checked.
    Subscriber profile page pointed at the new page with the shortcut.

    However, when using the shortcode it always displays a blank page with [wysija_page] on it. In other words, the shortcut does not work.

    The only way it works is when hitting the preview page in the mail poet settings.
    If you do a google search for “[wysija_page]” it returns a lot of websites that have the same result.

    What am I missing to get this to work? Subscribers should be able to edit their profile/subscribe/unsubscribe from the website.

  • Hi,

    That page will only work when accessed from inside an email, as it relies on the user’s email to generate the page. As such, if you access it directly, it will just display the blank shortcode.
