WYSIWYG create links that open in new window BY DEFAULT

  • I like that when using the new WYSIWYG editor if you type a website, it automatically converts it to a hyperlink.

    Veryclever.

    Anyone know how to make it do target="_blank" by default?

  • I’m not sure if you can make it do that by default, but even if you could, you shouldn’t, it will cause some validation errors. See this this post I pasted a javascript code that I use, it works well and it keeps everything XHTML 1.0 Strict and XHTML 1.1 compliant.
