    Hi,
i’d like to cache pages for logged in users, so i turned on “Cache Logged-in Users” and “Cache Commenters” in [1]Cache. No matter what I do, I only get:
    x-litespeed-cache: miss
    x-litespeed-cache-control: private,max-age=1800

Tried turning things on and off and also resetting the plugin with no luck. I can’t figure out what is preventing to serve the private copy to logged in users. Any help would be really appreciated.

    Report: FHAHRKTI

    Thanks

    Hi,

Did it also show miss if you refresh the page ?

    Hi @qtwrk,
thanks for your help ?? unfortunately yes, even after several reloads it’s always “miss”.

There’s also another strange thing happening: if I enable [5]ESI, the logged-in users start to get “hit” on their page loads but with OLS serving the “public” version instead of the “private” (confirmed by the x-litespeed-cache-control header). I wanted to try this even if I’m not using Enterprise Version nor QUIC.cloud CDN (so no wonder if it’s not working properly, but still it did sound a little strange behavior).

    Hi,

please try enable debug log , see if it gives any useful information

and please don’t enable ESI on OLS without QC , it will break things

Thanks for taking a look at the website, really appreciate that.

    Disabled ESI, my bad.

As for the log, i tried taking a look but couldn’t find anything useful that could point me in the right direction. Here’s a sample of a logged in user for you.

    yeah …

I don’t see anything wrong either

if you create a fresh new WP , only install WP + LSCWP and enable private cache , did it work on you there ?

this should help us to narrow down a bit where could be the issue

I’m gonna setup a new basic install and do some test to see if the problem will replicate or not. I’ll keep you posted.

    Thanks
