X showing old open graph/SEO images

    Whenever I go to post on X, the image for my website url is showing an old Open Graph/SEO image via Yoast SEO.

    I’ve purged caches, made sure it’s within the size limits (179k, 1400 by 700 pixels) and enabled the appropriate settings in Yoast SEO as they advise on their website but it still shows an old image.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Did you upload a specific Twitter/X image? If yes, check the page source to confirm that the tag has the image you uploaded – <meta name="twitter:image" content="#" />

    If no, does the image show as og:image?
