XDForum installed and activated but now??

  • I have installed and activated the XDForum plugin..
    How do I get access from my sidebar?
    Do I have to edit the index page and or sidebar with a call??

    XDForum could not copy the post template file into your current theme directory. Please make sure your theme directory is writable by the webserver.
    chmod -R 0777 /path/to/wordpress/wp-content/ is most likely the command you need to run.

    hugoboss: the plugin’s author has a pretty good help setup at https://www.xdweb.net/wordpress/?a=xdforum – in case you run into other problems….

    Not too many of us use it apparently.
