xlanguage language buttons don’t disappear after deinstallation

I installed the xlanguage plugIn and decided not to use it. After deinstalling and even after deleting it manually from the plugIns folder on my server (and of course after restarting the browser and emptying the cache) I still have the language buttons (french flag/british flag) in the rich editor.
As long as I don’t use them this doesn’t seem to be a problem, but it is a little irritating. Does anybody know how to remove those flag-buttons?
