XML file import incomplete – missing 60 posts

usually you can run the importer multiple times and it will pick up where it left off

Thank you! I am trying to re-install again now, and if that doesn’t work, will try the file splitter. My file is only 1,165 KB, so hoping the first option works…

yikes – that small of a file shouldn’t be a problem and sure shouldn’t need to split the file

Ok – so now I have all my posts, yippee! However, all my widgets and my links are missing. Any way to get that moved, or is it all manual? (I can’t even find all the same widgets in the hosted version…)

the importer doesn’t carry that info across
you can search the plugins directory for widgets you need
