XML is too big to import

  • I move my wordpress into Azure hosting and I try to import my xml from my old site and it is too big, I have try the online doc to edit .htaccess and still having the problem, I can’t find the php.ini file. Can someone help out with this plz..

    Depending on the server setting, will depend if you can edit the php.ini file, and if that will make a difference assuming you do. I would suggest you actually contact the host to have them help you with this. They will give you the best practice for their server, and may even do it for you.

    Just install 7zip, then zip the file into a .gz file. Then upload that.
