XML Sitemap Generator Error – Unable to write sitemape

Hey,

I’m getting this error message from my sitemap plugin

‘There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable’

Having looked at past posts I’ve tried uploading a blank sitemap.xml document to htdocs folder, but this does not resolve the issue.

I’ve also seen something about CHMOD but cannot see this anywhere in filezilla under any of the folders? My system is windows and not lunix, which may have something to do with it?

Any advice or help as to how I can get my sitemap working again is hugely appreciated!
