XML sitemap goes blank

    My yoast seo sitemap works and then appears blank after a few days. This presents an issue with google search console trying to index my site.

    No changes have been made to the site and I’ve seen this behavior where the xml sitemaps goes blank a couple times. After looking online I see toggling xml sitemap feature for a cache issue. I tried this and the problem still persists.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    We are sorry to hear the XML sitemap appears blank randomly. We looked at the sitemap index and can confirm that it’s fine now. So, it’s very hard to say anything without seeing the exact issue.

    That said, the blank sitemap typically occurs due to a cache and even though the sitemap appears blank, the source code of the sitemap remains fine. This means sitemaps won’t have any issues crawling them.

    So, if you experience the blank sitemap issue, please let us know so that we can see what’s going on.
