    Hi

I have changed some page URLs on a site but the XML sitemap isnt updating to the new URLs.

It still shows the old URLs.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks

    Tim

    Hi @tim_marston,

Could you please clear any website or server cache and then recheck the sitemap using a different browser? The sitemap shouldn’t be cached but it’s best to check for that issue first.

If you’re still having an issue, could you please share some more details regarding the issue, perhaps with some screenshots so I can investigate this and assist you further?

You may use a tool like?Snipboard?(https://snipboard.io/) ?to create & share the screenshots.

I’m looking forward to helping you!

    Hi

Sorry for the delay Im working with (slow) 3rd party devs!

As far as I can tell there is no server or site caching that could be causing this issue.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi @tim_marston,

Could you please use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/) to debug possible conflicts by following these steps:

This test will not affect the site for your visitors.

    1. Make sure to have a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty installed.
    2. Go to?Plugins > Add New?and install and activate the?Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Go to?Plugins > Installed?Plugins and click on?Troubleshoot?below the All in One SEO plugin.
    4. This will temporarily disable all the plugins and switch to a default theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
    5. Check to see if you’re able to reproduce the problem.
    6. Once you’re done troubleshooting, deactivate and delete the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

Please let me know what you find.

    Thanks!

Sorry that was a typo, I meant to say the problem is still there in Troubeshoot mode.

    Any ideas how to fix?

This seems like an issue that would be difficult to troubleshoot without being able to investigate it in more detail.
