xoo_wsc_add_to_cart from the sidecart woocommerce creates and extra cart entry

    Hello, i am having an issue with making a plugin that hooks to the woocommerce plugin. Currently my issue is with the xoo_wsc_add_to_cart, that adds an empty entry to my cart as an extra entry (see picture).
    is it possible to stop the sidecart plugin from doing this? in advance, Thank you!

    *Update*
    I have fixed the duplicate issue, but now i need to refresh the page everytime for the cart to update and show the product that was added to the cart. why is this? what do i need to trigger for the sidecart to update without page refresh. i guess it is some ajax function im not finding in the sidecart code.
