Yahoo Android app Reply-To issues

Hey all,

Ok, so I am aware that there are issues with sending messages from a yahoo.com email address, but that is not my issue.

What happens on my site is that a group of about 300 users are able to create their own posts. Other users of the site are able to contact those authors via a contact form made with CF7.

The form’s From field is set to [email protected], so the form sends without any issues. I also have the Reply-To header set at the [your-email] so when the author receives the email, they can click respond and it will send directly back to the user who sent it.

That all works, no issues there.

What happens though is if the form sends to an author who has a yahoo.com email address and if they attempt to respond via the Yahoo Android app, the Reply-To header is completely ignored and the response comes through to [email protected]. I know it is a very specific case (i.e. Yahoo Android app users only), but it is certainly an issue that is causing problems.

Has anyone come across this before or know of any workarounds that might help?
