    Hello,
Kindly help me. I set up client ID, client Secret with yahoo following the instructions and this was successful. After using this info to complete the rest of the wizard steps, I saw an instruction to “Grant Permission with Yahoo”. I clicked on the link and was taken to the yahoo site, where I saw this:

Oops. Yahoo is unable to process your request.
We recommend that you contact the owner of the application or web site to resolve this issue. [95022] Close

Do you have an idea why this may be happening? My yahoo client id was generated with two hyphens at the end. I tried it both with and without the hyphens and got the same result. Any help will be appreciated.

make sure when creating the Yahoo client ID that you select to use the Mail API.

Thanks so much for your speedy response. Actually, I used the Mail API option.

I just tried a test myself and it works fine (sometimes Yahoo goes down).

    1. I logged in to Yahoo with the same account I configured in Postman.
    2. I used my site’s test domain (wp.mydomain.com) as the callback – a real name, not an IP address.
    3. I enabled Mail API – Read/Write
    4. I copied the generated Client ID/Client Secret into Postman
    5. I performed the Grant. Bam, done.
    6. I sent a Postman test email

Maybe delete your Yahoo Developer App and start over?

Jason, I am happy to report success. Here’s what I just did: I put in the two hyphens at the end of the Client-ID just like it was displayed to me when I set it up and grant-permission-to-yahoo worked. But what baffles me is that it had failed with and without the hyphen yesterday. I have sent myself a test email which arrived.

on a personal level, let me thank you very much for your time and selfless help. I really truly appreciate that. Will try and connect with you via your website codingmonkey.
