  • You would be better contacting Yahoo to ask about that I think – not being blunt but its not a wordpress issue most likely.

How can be sure that this is not wordpress issue.May be it is.

Get rid of the <p> and closing </p> around your pipes code and try in IE

Actually i looked at the code which i pasted on the page that code(Given by Yahoo Pipes) doesn’t show me any pipes but i did see <p></p> on the IE browser. If it was normal site i would have deleted <p></P> But this was page was created by WP so can you please tell me how can i delete <p></p>it? This page was created by just adding 2 lines of code without <p></p>Thanks

    Hey,
Thank You for the link you sent me but i noticed that the errors it is showing First thing i dont’ see those errors in View>Source (On Browser)
Second thing where do i need to fix them since i just put 2 lines of code and whole page was created by WordPress.
    Thanks

    Hey,
Please tell me what is wrong. There is nothing wrong with the code since same coding is working not only with Firefox Even with IE7 (Widget is working but page is not working) Its the same code. Thanks

The code that contains those errors does show in view source.

since i just put 2 lines of code

You have also added some links, used some widgets, etc. If you look at the validation it gives you the line number and what the code actually reads. You can do a search for that in show source.

You should also disable in plugins you have and bring them back one at a time, checking for errors.

    I definitely understand those errors.
My question is ON WordPress where do you want me to edit it.
PLease don’t say on Page Edit. I understand and i said many times that i just entered 2 lines of code. That code was provided by yahoo pipes so don’t know what are you trying to say.
If it was my site and i had written the code i would fix it. but ON WP i didn’t write.
I did disable plugins. I even changed the code This time i added RSS on a page. It doesn’ work on page.It does work on Widget.

If noone has the answer may be i will delete that page since there is no point in keeping the page which is not working and everyone is not using Firefox.

Most of your errors are also on your home page, in a text widget listing sites, starting with Abundance Inn. They carry over to your “resouces” page.

My feeling is that the IE problem is caused by frames and or the forwarding but that is just me. It seems overcomplicated for something that should be simple.

I am not asking you to edit any WP file. All I am saying is someone installed all the plugins, someone made use of frames, someone is using url or whatever forwarding. WP does none of that by itself.

Deleting the page is one approach. Perhaps that is a good idea. hotkee‘s idea was not wrong either. In any event, I have gone as far as I can so mayhbe someone else will jump in here.

I hope you get it worked out.

Where should i go to delete <p></P> if hotkee’s idea is not wrong.

The <p> and </p> which I think are causing the problem in IE – and I think its the cause coz I tried it as a test myself, are being generated by wordpress I suspect.

How have you set this thing up?

Is it a post where you have add the yahoo code?

ps – also try a differnt theme with ie.

    Hey,
No it is not a post it is a page.
YES THAT IS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY i didn’t add <p></p> I just added 2 lines code in the page THAT IS ALL. ANd in fact same code was in the widget on IE and it was working On IE.Right Now i changed the code for the page but no luck.
I tried it with other free themes but no luck.

    Your Question
How have you set this thing up?
Answer: I had created a Yahoo Pipe.
I will wait till evening otherwise i will delete the page. I really worked hard on this and it is so sad that i will have to delete. Thanks

Well if you want to continue trying it – my suspicion is its the <p> tags – it might be your stylesheet settings.

But the <p> tags are placed by wordpress by default.

Now the yahoo pipe code is 2 lines I think – if you stick the code on one line only and try that – it might be different.

Ok its a page – you can try to create a custom page template – that would hopefully resolve the issue if its wordpress.

Actually It is one line only but when i paste it in WP it becomes too lines.
