Year old Photos not showing in my posts.

  • I moved my site from wordpress.com to www.ads-software.com last November. When I moved it over, ALL of my content was visible and there were no problems. All of a sudden, my older photos (archived MAY 2014 and earlier) are mot visible on my site. They are however visible in the Media Library. Is there a quick way to fix this? I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to code, and apprehensive about messing anything up.
    I often refer back to older posts so this creates a problem for me. Please help me if you can.

    I have found that if I change the image URL from a custom URL to the Attachment Page URL, then it fixes the problem. But I would have to manually edit each Photo. I just don’t have the time for that.

    If that is the best solution, there is likely a simple SQL query that could go through your database and change that setting:

    Learning how to do that and getting it done might or might not take less time than manual edits, but hiring it done might be an option:

    That doesn’t seem like that solution will work for me, and Im not looking to hire anybody. I have been able to work kinks out before and I’m not sure why I have hit such a huge wall with this one. I tried to manually edit each pic. in the post editor to the “Attachement Page” URL but it doesnt work with all the pics. Im wondering if it is a problem with one of my plug ins or with an update with wordpress 4.2.2
    Anybody else run in to this problem?
