years after still has validation issues for lazy loading

Unfortunately, it is the way it is. So-called “Validation services” don’t recognize lazy loading at all; they can’t, because it’s handle by Javascript and they would need to run the website as a human does. The real issue is not the service nor the plugin, it’s actually the importance people give to them. They give pointers, but that’s pretty much it. Check big websites, they are very far from perfect, simply because the best websites are made for human being, not robots ??

About the contact from crashing your server, it’s very strange, I don’t see how it could do that, it’s a standard form handled by the most used form plugin; you should try with another browser or maybe update it? I really doubt it’s a problem of my website. I have checked, but I don’t see how.

Thanks Jordy – surely being able to designate a smaller sized image in the src would instantly remove these validation issues. Default thumbnail or user selectable.

Sorry, I meant browser ?? I tried with Safari latest version but I don’t have this issue at all. Sounds like a memory error to me and out of luck it happens on that page, but it could happen on any others. This: https://offbeatjapan.org/about/ uses the same plugin, you could try. But a browser shouldn’t crash, if it does, it means that there is a problem with it. Websites can be just heavy or have an infinite process running, eating all the memory (but it is not the case of that page), but even that, browsers ask you if you want to close it.
